incorporate the Common Core Standards in an effective manner while weaving History and English together for a fuller education;

help teachers with day-to-day effective and ethical teaching by providing information, strategies, lessons, unit outlines and resources on the major topics they have to teach;
encourage the inclusion of human rights and social responsibility discussions in all History and English units.

Woven Teaching’s latest lesson, Strike!: Workers’ Rights and the Matchwomen of London’s East End provides an opportunity for students to learn about their rights as workers, as well as an historical struggle by workers in Victorian London. Students will also learn about the importance of solidarity.
